Today Michelle and I were hoping to take the kids swimming. But it rained and thunderstormed all night so, though it wasn't raining this morning, it also wasn't very good swimming weather. So we decided to go to the park instead. We started out on the swings, which all the kids enjoyed, though Joshua later got a little scared and didn't want to swing anymore.

But it was fine because Joshua got to play in the sand area with a little girl he met. Since Clara hates sand a lot, it was nice that Michelle was there to stay with Clara on the swings and I could watch Joshua in the sand area. Michelle also managed to have a little fun in the park too.

Even though there was a nice toddler area, the kids really seemed to prefer the big-kid area. They both went down the big slides (that you can see here) and the extra-big slides, though Clara went down the slide with speed bumps to make sure things didn't get out-of-hand.

It was a fun little outing and the kids liked having their Aunt Michelle there.
