This week we are reviewing the color red and I thought it might be fun if we made some homemade slime/gak. Unfortunately, almost every recipe calls for borax and I didn't really plan ahead, so I didn't have any. I found one recipe that did not require it so we gave it a try. It wasn't really a success. I am not sure what we made, but it was super liquidy unless you grabbed it and then it was solid. Which may be a good science lesson on states, but we aren't really there yet and it made a gigantic mess. Joshua did enjoy it so it wasn't a total loss, but I think next time I will be investing in some Borax.
