I think I went the entire year last year without attending a Royals game, which is disappointing. But this year won't be a repeat of that, because I've already gone to a game even though only one home game has been played. My friend Jason was able to secure tickets for me and for Tony for the sold-out home opener against the Twins, so the three of us went today to the K today to see the Royals do nothing for 7 innings only to finally come alive in the bottom of the 8th to take a 3-1 lead which would end up being the final score. It was mostly an overcast day, but here we are squinting into the camera in what happened to be one of the few moments the sun came out and was in our eyes.
