Today we went to the home of our friends, the Hansons, to enjoy brunch and hang out. Callie made Dutch pancakes that are popular in Minnesota and Wisconsin (and probably also in the Netherlands) called pannekoeken. We also enjoyed them, especially the kids. Although Clara predictably said she didn't want any until we shoved a piece in her mouth and she realized that, like every kid, she loves bread products with syrup. It was a fun morning and we were glad we had the opportunity to get together with them.
