Bafeball
Joshua loves baseball. Or maybe he just loves hitting things with other things, and to him baseball embodies that the best. Yesterday he rolled up part of the Sunday paper and swung it like a bat and declared "Baseball!" (although he cutely says it like "Bafeball!"). So we knew it was time to break out the tee ball set that we had recently bought for him. He took to it like a pro. Aside from a few times hitting the tee (you can see that in the bottom-left picture), he pretty much nailed the ball every time (like in the top-left picture) and sent it flying surprisingly far across the yard. In the bottom-right picture you can see it in the air about to whiz by my head. We'll definitely enroll him in tee ball when the time comes to see if he likes it as much as I think he will. And given the Royals anemic offense this year, I believe he has already shown sufficient skill to crack the starting lineup, so I might need to give Dayton Moore a call.
