These pictures were supposed to be a little more dramatic. Today I flew from KC to Minneapolis. When I was near the airport at around 6:30 I took the picture on the left. It was sunnyish and 75 degrees. I knew that not only was there supposed to be a dramatic drop in temperature in KC over the next couple hours, but it was also supposed to be very cold and snowy in Minneapolis. I'd planned to take a picture in the cold and snow for comparison, but when I landed there was no snow, just cold (36 degrees). So the pictures didn't end up telling the story I'd hoped. Oh well. Can't win 'em all.
