Whenever possible, I only take the kid who has an appointment to the doctor because it's a rather germy place and also very boring. Luckily Peg was available to watch Joshua and Hannah today so they were able to stay at home. While they were playing, Joshua stacked all the blocks in order of size, all by himself with no assistance. This is something he has been really frustrated with at times because he hasn't always gotten that it isn't going to go well if you stack a very large block on a small one, so this is kind of a mini-milestone for him. He has been very close before, but this is the first time I am aware that he was able to do it in order by himself, so it's nice Peg got a photo.

Doctor Day
Today I took Clara to her 15 month check. She is never that thrilled to go to the doctor and today was no exception. She doesn't like strangers, especially not ones that don't give her everything she wants, like the light they use to look into ears. She usually screams like they are killing her any time they touch her even if they just put her on the scale, so it is not a particularly delightful time for me and I assume not for the medical staff either. But between the time she threw a fit over being weighed and the time we saw Dr. Stuppy, she was in very good spirits and enjoyed playing with my purse. The appointment went well and she is doing great in every area except she is still tiny. But healthwise, everything seems great.
