Tonight Ron and Peg watched the kids to let us have a fun date night. We ate Mexican at a restaurant we hadn't tried before:
Zocalo on the plaza. I was hesitant to go that far away because I hate driving, but Jason convinced me there was no reason not to and I am really glad I agreed to it. The food was pretty good. It was not really heavy and cheesy TexMex like many Mexican restaurants around here and we both enjoyed our meals. The margaritas were also excellent and not mixy. After dinner, since we were in the area, we went to
Foo's Fabulous Frozen Custard for dessert, a Brookside institution. We enjoyed the custard on the warm evening and had a really fun evening out.
