We went to the Hansons tonight. They still have their five foster kids, so with us there it was a house full of a lot of people. Fourteen, to be exact. For as much as we think we're busy with our three kids, the Hansons are way busier. But they do a great job of managing. They have a new playground set in their back yard, and all of the kids (other than Hannah, Nevaeh, and Tucker) loved playing on it. Later we had dinner, as Jason had grilled some ribs, which were delicious. After dinner, we had dessert, as Meghan had made two red, white, and blue cakes to celebrate the 4th of July. BFFs Tucker and Hannah spent a lot of time together, though it didn't start out well as Tucker was crying, but it looked like Hannah was comforting him. By the end of the night they were both in great moods and happily sat next to each other, although I think Hannah was trying to head-butt him, which is an odd sign of affection from her. I'm not sure he took it that way. But it was a fun night with good friends and good food.
