12 Months!

Today we took Hannah's 12 month photos. The year really has flown by. Right now she is in a super fun stage. She has gotten a lot more motivated to move so she pulls up and crawls constantly. She can stand for a split second and I think she could do more, but she is a very cautious person so she doesn't feel confident enough to get too far away from furniture or let go for too long. She does seem to want to walk so as soon as she gets a little more faith in her abilities, I think she will be on her way. She has a few words: go, stop, no, snack. She will repeat mama or dada, but I don't think she attaches meaning to them. She loves to growl. She uses a growl to mean dogs (which counts as a word at this age), but it is also her love language and she likes growling with people. It's really cute because although Joshua had a brief growling phase at about four months, none of my other kids have done it like this or used it as communication as an older baby so it's uniquely hers.  She is still our little dare-devil and loves being thrown, doing trust falls, and other things that involve hurtling towards the ground at high speeds. We think bungee jumping may be in her future. She has gotten a bit ornery and definitely can instigate trouble with her siblings and thinks it's funny to throw food off her high chair. We love her so much and can't wait to see her little personality come out even more as she becomes a toddler.
